So, a little about me then: I'm happily married with 3 young children; I like books, coffee, chocolate and black-and-white films (simultaneously if possible); and I hate housework!

I was born in Glasgow and studied history at St. Andrews University. After that, under the delusion that I wanted to be a librarian, I went to Wales to study. Since then, I have worked in various places around the UK, as a librarian, editorial assistant and researcher.

I really began writing seriously to distract myself from a job which I disliked, and which I finally ditched (with a sigh of guilty relief!) when I moved to a small seaside town in the Kingdom of Fife.

My first published novel, An Endless Exile was released as an e-book in 2004. In October 2005, it was published in paperback.

A World to Win, the first book I wrote, is now available in both print and ebook.
